Watch out… I’m plotting something

So… after talking about things on #GBC, there’s been a few of us that have decided that there needs to be a blogger shoot in the South East. My town seems a convenient middle ground for folks, so I’m looking around for venues and such.

One issue is I need to get an idea on how many folks would be interested. This is still very much in the early development phases, so I don’t have any details yet (including if it’s actually going to happen), but if I’m scheduling it, it will be scheduled around the scifi cons I’m going to.

So… who’d be interested?

Well… I’m interested, but 1) I have no idea where in the SE you live, and 2) I’d have to get over my crippling fear that you’d hate me on sight.

  I’m in Nashville. I know it’s a good way from you, but we’ve got 3 interstates intersecting here, and an airport.

    Hmm. That presents an interesting conundrum. It’s too far to drive, so I couldn’t easily bring my guns. However, Oleg once spoke of flying me in to visit. I don’t know how he could swing that, but if so…

Disavowed With Honor

Not only am I in, but will be happy to help any way that I can since I am so close. The only things that would prevent assistance or attendance is the up and coming expectations we have mentioned in direct conversation.

I may even have access to some land/private property which will make things a little easier. I will wait to check on things until you contact me. Plus, the opportunity to see old friends and maybe even make new ones.

If I know Oddball as well as I think I do… he wouldn’t surround himself with people that hate on sight. There’s a lot of respect in that circle.

Oddball, if this is happening after July, I may be able to swing the time off work. Talking in #GBC, I was under the impression this would be in the next couple months.

If I can arrange the required side trip to visit my insane family around the same time then me and the Mrs. will be in too.

Post July might be a bit late but also might work out. I’ll have to do some schedule crunching but pencil us in.
