Foreshadowing

This is what Canton, OH, is begging for by keeping Officer Daniel Harless in any capacity. It’s also what any other police force should expect to see by hiring him.

When I saw his history I saw the immediate correlation. It made me sick knowing this is going to get considerably worse before it gets any better.

This is why being an honest cop proved to be too difficult for me. I sacrifced being a cop instead of sacrificing my honesty.

This is the problem (besides the obvious). Too many departments are loathe to “fire” a police officer. Insead they are “allowed to resign” and take thier problems to another department, and another, and another, and another… Or in this case, the douchebag in question doesn’t even get fired. He just gets a suspension without pay (5 times) or some other slap on the wrist. This does nothing but reinforce his behavior.

This is a systemic problem across the country. No one wearing a badge in a supervisory/administrative role has the intestinal fortitude to just flat out fire a cop (unless he’s actually doing the right thing) for the wrong doings the cop has committed. Why? It’s called a police union. Just like other unions it’s about asserting thier will as opposed to Right and Wrong.

More must stand up in the face of this monstrous acceptance. These “police officers” are begging for justice and they’re not getting it. The time for justice being distributed equally among the people, the politicians, and the police is LONG overdue!!!
