{"id":4485,"date":"2016-12-15T09:17:34","date_gmt":"2016-12-15T15:17:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/?p=4485"},"modified":"2016-12-15T09:17:34","modified_gmt":"2016-12-15T15:17:34","slug":"are-you-freaking-kidding-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/?p=4485","title":{"rendered":"Are you freaking kidding me?!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apparently, it&#8217;s illegal for folks to carry pepper spray in Canada. \u00a0Some folks with clear heads are trying to correct that. \u00a0You&#8217;d think that would be a no brainer, right? \u00a0Nope.<\/p>\n<p>Ok.<\/p>\n<p>Fine.<\/p>\n<p>Are the detractors stating that bad guys might use the sprays to attack the innocent?<\/p>\n<p>Nope.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe they&#8217;re concerned that folks might over react and spray someone because they got into an argument?<\/p>\n<p>Nope.<\/p>\n<p>The argument against is that legalizing pepper spray is evil and wrong because &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/ipolitics.ca\/2016\/12\/02\/hajdu-calls-leitchs-pepper-spray-proposal-offensive-to-women\/\">places the onus on women to defend themselves rather than focusing on addressing and preventing gender-based violence<\/a>,&#8221; and is &#8220;offensive to women.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s right. \u00a0It&#8217;s evil because we should just teach boys not to rape, and then we&#8217;ll live in a magical world of peace. \u00a0Oh, and it&#8217;s offensive to think that you might want to be prepared if some droog&#8217;s treatment doesn&#8217;t work.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t even.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apparently, it&#8217;s illegal for folks to carry pepper spray in Canada. \u00a0Some folks with clear heads are trying to correct that. \u00a0You&#8217;d think that would be a no brainer, right? \u00a0Nope.
