It&#8217;s being replaced by the 300blk sbr I built last year.<\/p>\n<p>The sbr has a Hogue free float tube that had been given to me several years ago but had been sitting in my parts bin ever since.<\/p>\n<p>I am a firm believer in &#8220;every home defense gunshould have a light&#8221; but the old Hogue tubes don&#8217;t have any attachment points.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Solution:<\/p>\n<p>I have digital calipers, design software, and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B018GZBC3Y\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;linkCode=ll1&amp;tag=gucaante-20&amp;linkId=d65f85f8651ccafe800e09ac0d167891\">3d printer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/20160402_171714\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4388\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4388\" src=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/20160402_171714-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"20160402_171714\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>An hour later&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/20160402_202113\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4385\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4385\" src=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/20160402_202113-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"20160402_202113\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/20160402_204609\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4387\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4387\" src=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/20160402_204609-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"20160402_204609\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cost me about a dollar in material and electricity, and took about ten minutes to design. No, it&#8217;s not a permanent solution.
