{"id":4286,"date":"2015-08-03T11:27:47","date_gmt":"2015-08-03T16:27:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/?p=4286"},"modified":"2015-08-03T11:27:47","modified_gmt":"2015-08-03T16:27:47","slug":"oh-this-stupidity-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/?p=4286","title":{"rendered":"Oh, this stupidity again."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A while back, I wrote about the stupidity of Metro Nashville&#8217;s opinion that they can still ban guns at concerts in parks because&#8230; uh&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/2015\/05\/07\/you-have-got-to-be-ing-kidding-me\/\" target=\"_blank\">going to a concert isn&#8217;t recreation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Well, the state Attorney General has put out and opinion that states that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2015\/07\/30\/ag-private-companies-cant-ban-legal-guns--public-parks\/30898391\/\" target=\"_blank\">no, they can&#8217;t do that<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nashville Metro&#8217;s Legal Director&#8217;s response?\u00a0 &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/nashvillepublicradio.org\/post\/nashville-stands-firm-refusing-allow-guns-new-ascend-amphitheater\" target=\"_blank\">We&#8217;re going to continue to ban guns anyways<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He even says that someone&#8217;s going to have to sue before the city considers changing it&#8217;s mind.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s only, you know, state law.\u00a0 Nothing much.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A while back, I wrote about the stupidity of Metro Nashville&#8217;s opinion that they can still ban guns at concerts in parks because&#8230; uh&#8230; going to a concert isn&#8217;t recreation.
