{"id":3074,"date":"2013-10-31T15:56:26","date_gmt":"2013-10-31T20:56:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/?p=3074"},"modified":"2013-10-31T15:56:26","modified_gmt":"2013-10-31T20:56:26","slug":"the-daily-show-hits-it-on-the-head","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/?p=3074","title":{"rendered":"The Daily Show hits it on the head"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I know a bunch of you don&#8217;t particularly like Jon Stewart due to his view on gun control, and his generally leftest views, but I think he hit it out of the park last night talking about the NSA.<\/p>\n<p>[youtube http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9W9hWJROeRs&#038;w=420&#038;h=315]<\/p>\n<p>Those whose jobs it is to oversee the NSA are either claiming &#8220;oh&#8230; we didn&#8217;t know&#8221; (either complete BS, or complete failure to do their jobs), or, in the case of the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, not only doesn&#8217;t believe that there&#8217;s not a problem, but, and I quote, believes that &#8220;you can&#8217;t have your privacy violated if you don&#8217;t know your privacy was violated.&#8221;\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 I looked up the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techdirt.com\/articles\/20131029\/18020225059\/mike-rogers-you-cant-have-your-privacy-violated-if-you-dont-know-about-it.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">context<\/a>.\u00a0 He actually believes that you didn&#8217;t do anything wrong if you don&#8217;t get caught.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, Jon does blame both sides of the aisle for this one.<\/p>\n<p>Oh&#8230; and his explanation of Obama&#8217;s reaction to all of this?\u00a0 You have to go back to two days ago for that bit.\u00a0 Apparently nobody tells Obama <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WwYBI8Rin3g\" target=\"_blank\">anything<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know a bunch of you don&#8217;t particularly like Jon Stewart due to his view on gun control, and his generally leftest views, but I think he hit it out of the park last night talking about the NSA.
