No POST, no beeps (and I had to drive all around town looking for a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/PC_speaker\">PC Speaker<\/a> since for some reason Gigabyte doesn&#8217;t include an on-board speaker. WTF?)<\/p>\n<p>There are <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.pcper.com\/showthread.php?t=479478\">rumblings<\/a> on the intertubes that even though Gigabyte <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gigabyte.us\/support-downloads\/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4015\">says<\/a><\/i> the CPU I bought is compatible with this motherboard, it&#8217;s only compatible after you do a firmware update.<\/p>\n<p>Which you can&#8217;t do unless you have a compatible CPU.<\/p>\n<p>So I guess I&#8217;m going to see if Amazon will take this board back.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>That new server I&#8217;m building?
