{"id":1478,"date":"2012-07-05T11:56:41","date_gmt":"2012-07-05T16:56:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/?p=1478"},"modified":"2012-07-05T11:56:41","modified_gmt":"2012-07-05T16:56:41","slug":"miscellany","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/?p=1478","title":{"rendered":"Miscellany"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A few things that aren&#8217;t worth their own posts, but that I wanted to mention anyway:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I finally got around to ordering the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B001WJ5EMW\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=gucaante-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B001WJ5EMW\">UTG Defender Tactical Xenon Flashlight<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=gucaante-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B001WJ5EMW\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0Brass suggested in my <a href=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/2012\/04\/23\/bleg-weapon-lights\/\">Weapon Light Bleg<\/a> post from&#8230;April. Should be here by Monday. I figure at $35, if it works, great! If it doesn&#8217;t seem very robust, I&#8217;ll throw it on my .22 trainer and get a better one.<\/li>\n<li>I did get around to posting a list of <a href=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/state-level-organizations\/\">state level gun rights organizations<\/a>, but I never actually mentioned that I had done it <a href=\"https:\/\/gunscarstech.com\/2012\/05\/21\/help-me-get-the-word-out-about-state-level-organizations\/\">after soliciting your help<\/a>. Thanks for your help with that, I really appreciate it.<\/li>\n<li>I\u00a0<em>finally<\/em> got around to installing the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apextactical.com\/\">APEX<\/a> RAM and DCAEK in my M&amp;P9 yesterday. I didn&#8217;t install the <a href=\"https:\/\/apextactical.com\/store\/product-info.php?pid20.html\">USB<\/a> that comes with the DCAEK, because it require removal of the rear site. Since, as my friend Reese informed me, IDPA stands for &#8220;I Don&#8217;t Practice Anymore&#8221; I don&#8217;t want to futz with the sights and then not verify zero before I shoot a match. The next one is in 9 days and I don&#8217;t see myself getting in some range time before then.<\/li>\n<li>It has been 5 years since I became Debt Free. I paid off my student loans on July4th, 2007*. It seems longer that that.<\/li>\n<li>I have been given my great-grandfather&#8217;s .32 S&amp;W revolver. It was bought used in 1920. Near as I can tell, it was made in 1904. Not sure it&#8217;s ever been cleaned, though.
